Solomon Aigbavboa

Solomon attended the University of Benin where he bagged the Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 1990. He also obtained an M.Sc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the same University, an MBA from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri and a PhD in Operations (Pharmaceutical Supply Chain) Management from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.

He started his career in 1992 as a lecturer with the University of Benin, and later joined UAC as a Personal Products Manager. In July 1999, he went on to be the Jos Depot Manager, MDS Logistics. Between 2000 and 2008, he held many management positions in the UACN Group. He left UACN briefly in September 2008 to join Zain Telecoms (now Airtel) Nigeria as the General Manager – North West, and Director – Regional Support.  In June 2009, he returned to UACN and on January 1st 2010, was appointed as the Managing Director, MDS Logistics Plc. He later became the MD/CEO of Livestock Feeds Plc in January 2018 and form August 2019 – June 2020, was MD/CEO of Flux Logistix Limited.

Solomon sat on the Board of Courier Plus Limited and from 2008 to 2019, was a Non-Executive Director & Acting Chairman of the board of CAP Nigeria Plc. He is a member of the Council for Supply Chain Management Professionals, CSCMP, USA, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute Logistics & Transport, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management, Ghana, and a Fellow of the African Centre for Supply Chain Management.  He regularly facilitates training/courses in Logistics & Supply Chain at the Lagos Business School, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and the Multimix Academy/African Centre for Supply Chain Management.
